I am not sure what this is... Anxiety, stage of pregnancy, but last night OH was out had been all day and i started feeling really weird, went and had nice bath and baby was jiving around which i normally love but i just felt complete panic and freaked out. just wanted OH home so i could snuggle with him. it did feel like anxiety attack, not prone to these since my 20's.... And just wondering if they are a normal thing for this stage of pregnancy?

Bump also feels so achey by the end of the day if i am busy i almost can't walk or get up. am i normal or a freak?!!!!!

Well the achy bump sounds quite normal to me - I'm 37 weeks and very tired of having a sore bump at the end of the day.

I had a big wobble at about 32 weeks - I didn't want my OH to go to work, which is really silly as we live in the same building as where he works!! His office is literally 10 seconds walk from my front door...
I was over-thinking everything too.

Sounds perfectly normal to me!

I'm no where near 30 weeks yet but I can understand having wobbles at that time. I guess things start being very real which is amazingly exciting most of the time but it's totally normal to feel a bit panicy about the massive change. I suffer anxiety generally (along with other things) and I fully expect a proper freak out later on in pregnancy :) Try to relax and tell yourself how you're feeling is normal x

I just had a hysterical crying fit because I can't find the right size chest of drawers in ikea
I mean, seriously? (the tears)
(I'm 30 weeks)
I think they're getting to the fast track growing stage and even more hormones are being pumped through you- likely to cause anxiety and/or tears.
I really wouldn't try to read that much more into it at the moment.
Bloody ikea.

Cosmo, I think you are some kind of fertility goddess managing Ikea at 30 weeks - I can barely shift my mammoth carcass off the sofa, and I'm starting to get cabin fever.

Cosmo89 · 08/04/2012 17:07

Nope. I am not. I was looking at the Ikea website. The Shame.
THAT'S how ridiculous I was being. I was even on my laptop in bed. Hardly stressful.

sara and sparkle your right... adjustments and have just moved house so it makes sense, i just felt so weird last night really odd and freaky. today i have done some yoga which was lovely and calming i think it may be a feeling of being out of control you know, not good with medical things. so today i have been laughing hysterically and cosmo and lost i have found your posts so funny. i cried because i don't like the green paint and carpets in the new dine room quite sobby and sounded so funny as i could hear myself but just couldnt do anything about it, just like the laughing today. hormones.

Hi, just to add - I felt like this sometimes because even although feeling the baby kick and move about is amazing, you can't get away from it. You get no break. Your bladder gets bounced on and ribs pummelled no matter what.

Chin up. Stoical mumsnetty pat on the back Grin
