35 weeks today and I am fed up beyond belief of feeling like a giant beached whale and there is still 5 weeks to go and I am led to believe 3 weeks more of baby gaining weight. I am so uncomfortable Sad

I have also developed sickness like never before and have to take anti sickness tablets for a while and hope that the ketones disapear from my pee. On the plus side three working days before I finish work no more early starts (until baby is born).

It's hot and I have nothing to wear and a beautiful wardrobe of clothes bought a few months before becoming preganant.

xx

haha love the greenpeace comment.

I am 33 weeks, so feeling very depressed that this pregnancy is dragging me down so much now. Have got a virus, and it is just adding to the exhaustion and aches already here :( I also stupidly agreed to work until 1st of May, and am now feeling awful that I will have to tell them I need to finish sooner... and to make it worse, it will affect money. I already have got myself into a right guilty state about taking 2 sick days cos we reaaally need the money >.<

Just generally feeling sorry for myself really. I wish I had finished work now and just could be sitting around. Plus besides my partner, noone is indulging my whinging! I want someone to make a real fuss and insist on coming over, taking over and cleaning the house... lol

Meh!

Yummymummyyobe1 · 25/03/2012 18:32

katykunsSun Don't feel guilty about having to finish early I was going to work right up until the Friday before my due date, but after feeling so tired and uncomfortable I moved it forward to this Thursday.

It is important when you are unwell to rest when you are pregnant as it takes a lot longer to get well. Pregnancy takes it toll on the old immune system.

People do not know how hard being pregnant is until they do it for themselves and the whinging is because we are hormonal and tired. Pregnant women should be entitiled to a maid from the goverment.

I'm only 26 weeks but huge. I have a huge spot on my huge arse Blush My nipples look like huge bullseyes....I can't shave anything below my armpits. I have developed several double chins and bingo wings. I have heartburn and it's hard to poop Blush I have a pain in my back and a pain in my huge ARSE!

You did ask! Grin

confuzed90 · 25/03/2012 19:37

I'm 35+5 and I am too exhausted. I am too huge! Had to go asda today and get some summer things that actually fit!! I feel unbelievably fat. Down and starting to seriously wish this pregnancy would hurry up to the end!

Yummymummyyobe1 · 25/03/2012 20:44

LOL scarletforya The glamour.

confuzed90 I hear you feel like a whale I wouldn't mind but people say oh you'll be back in your size 8 in no time. That does not help me right now in my limited size 10 wardrobe.

HI I'm well up for a moan. Am 16 weeks with twins. Have a toddler who's been ill with a cough & sickness for over a week and is keeping me awake every night. So fed up of having no sleep, when I'm supposed to be looking after myself. Have lower back pain and have been told to go swimming twice a week, but this week have just been too knackered. Now house is a tip, dh away working and I have no patience left to deal with tantrums. Just want a lovely night of restoring sleep to make me feel normal(ish).

Yummymummyyobe1 · 25/03/2012 21:03

joannita hope things get better rest when you can. xx

I'm 25 weeks, had three hours sleep last night due to baby body popping and kick boxing all night. My eyes are sore from crying, and whose ruddy idea was it to have a baby anyway Hmm Oh yeah, his, coz he doesn't have any of this discomfort. Oh roll on the end of May when I can have my maternity leave.

I'm in a bad mood, my back hurts, I've got tendonitis in my foot from having a tilted pelvis so I can't even walk properly.

We've got a burst water main, so no water. I want a shower and wash my hair before work tomorrow grr

Oops that was a bit of a rant Blush

confuzed90 · 25/03/2012 21:17

Oh god tell me about the size 8s!! My wardrobe is full of them...some really beautiful summer clothes that are size 6-8....DP seems to think will be bk in them in no time and that I haven't got much time left... I hate it when people say..."Not long left" errrrrmmm are they carrying the baby??? Every day seems like a LIFETIME!

heartmoonshadow · 26/03/2012 12:33

Joining in albeit a bit late I am 35 weeks and fed up. I appear to be getting pre-eclampsia again and have a 2 year old to look after! Bless him he is a calm child normally and during the day we have a lovely routine which he is very good at. But bless the hour change knocked him for six last night and it was past 10 when he went to sleep.

I feel like I am the size of a house and just want this all to be over so I can hold my baby and get on with life! Thank goodness this is the last pregnancy I will have to go through and that I have booked DH for a vasectomy to make sure!

Yummymummyyobe1 · 27/03/2012 18:53

Still too grumpy for words and uncomfortable and as for this heat well don't get me started.

Pregnancy + heat + discomfort = angry angry woman who should not be messed with.

I have to say a woman did feel my full wrath on the way into work today. After waddling to the bus and waiting for what seemed like a life time (I was early) the bus arrived as I hauled myself up with usual attractive sounds that accompany this mannover by a 35 +2 days pregnant woman. Some fat arrogant, woman barges past me without a word.

So with a loud sigh I let rip, could you be any ruder you fat, stupid, incosiderate witch (my colleagues that I travel with me all most pee themselves laughing) She turns and responds I know rude people rub me up the wrong way too (oblivious the rant is aimed at her) . So now fumming even more I say to my collegues you thing the elephant would realise I meant her what an idiot.

Said women looks horrified and de buses and goes to the back of the que. Ha Ha. Then decides not to get on. Ha Ha. Don't mess with me I am a mega hormonal woman. Ha ha hope she had a nice day.

Can I jump in?

I have SPD so I'm on crutches and I'm 28 weeks pg (and massive with it) and people still won't stand up for me on the bus/train. My physio advises that I don't stand up/sit down/walk around/lift anything, and even walking in water is a no no, let alone actually trying to swim.

Everything hurts and there is nothing I can do about it, and I have a two year old to entertain.

Then, this morning, just to make my life fantastic, I got a phone call letting me know that I have GD. FML.

joannita · 28/03/2012 12:11

Re bus/train thing, just announce or pick someone who looks young and able bodied and say, excuse me I'm pregnant etc can I have your seat please. They won't refuse I'm sure. You shouldn't have to do it but it's better than just fuming inwardly.

Naughty 2 yo ds woke 3 times crying last night. So sick of no sleep.

Yummymummyyobe1 · 28/03/2012 12:50

If men had to carry our children mankind would die out. Come on the first sign of a runny nose and most men are dying. Can see it now men and going into labour Wink

Do you mind if i have a rant... just been to asda in currently the only top that fits me (co incidentally also looks like a tutu) was asked by 2 different men if im having twins, nothing in asda fitted me so have come home got in shower and am now walking round in a towel, the only thing that doesnt make me look like nelly the elephant, i shall be wearing said towel until the middle of june when i shall no doubt give birth in under 5 minutes and go down to a size 10 instead of a 14.

I also havent pooed for 4 days, have a constant headache, mil and mum on my case to go baby shopping with them, (mum was shocked to hear of my towel wearing idea, so luckily wont be seen with me till i get something else to wear) I have to do some work or i wont get paid and just cannot be bothered to move from my bed. its so hot outside and all i wanna do is lie in my bed and eat sausage butties.....mmmmm Smile

salempickles · 28/03/2012 14:54

And 1 last thing, baby usually teaches itself kick boxing from the time i lay down to sleep to the time i eventually get up, this keeps me awake constantly, last night i had no movements at all, so i was awake constantly with worry, just cannot win!

Yummymummyyobe1 · 28/03/2012 21:04

lostlenore hugs to you and hope you are feeling better.

salempickles RANT away. Our LO's like to keep us on our toes onw day they seem to throw a party and the next they are just too tired. I used to freak out with all the changes but remember as baby gets bigger they start to run out of room.

Go and get the headache checked out as it can be a sign of high BP. Rest when you can and take cool baths with the butties.

xx
