I'm thinking yes but doubting myself now?!
Any advice?

I'd say yes. I had just under 2 years between mine. Got a phil and teds. DD2 is nearly 2 and we are still using it.

We had one. Even if you've got a decently able walking toddler, they still need naps and get tired at the most inconvenient moments Grin

I had one with a 2 year age gap; didn't bother with the 3 year age gap between middle and last.

I did with a 2 year gap. We walked everywhere though, had I had a car I would have been fine with a buggy board I think/swapping baby from pushchair to sling when 2 year old needed to sit. Still did that quite a lot if I didn't want to take the double, or I chucked the 2 year old on my back in the sling. I have a 3 year gap now and the double is still in the loft so will probably be sold.

I found a sling for baby and pushchair for toddler the simplest solution. Then a buggy board as the baby moves into the pram. However it depends how much time you spend on foot, if it's just round town and you're in and out of the car more then single buggy prob easiest, if you're on foot loads then a double's going to be essential. Worth checking eBay for second hand as I know loads of people who've tried out multiple doubles and sold them on immediately as haven't got on with them for some reason - can't get them in the car easily etc. Kiddicare have a big selection to try out if you're anywhere near Peterborough. The front to back styles are easier to get in and out of shops but can be heavy. I'd avoid four wheel styles, you can't push with one hand (if toddler wants to walk) and they're impossible to manoeuvre round corners.

Yes, I got a cheap double from eBay. I also found that walking with my then 2 year old was a nightmare as she was inclined to make a run for it! So I used a pair of reins which unclipped and allowed me to tie them to the side of the buggy.
She could then walk alongside me without having to hold my hand but couldn't run off!

I didn't with a 21m gap. We had a sling for the little one, but by the time he'd grown out of it his big brother was a sturdy enough walker to cope without the buggy.

23months between mine.. I have purchased a double buggy as my son still has an afternoon nap and i dont want to be restricted in what times i can just pop out because of it. Saying that though he is a very confident walker but, i do not drive.

I have purchased a buggy board for short journeys as my pushchair converts from a single into a double so have the option!

Not keen on the idea of chasing spirited 2yo around shopping area whilst trying to push baby though so defo think pushchair!!!
