Blood test for Downs results. How long?

Anyone know how long it takes to get results of Downs screening back? Sorry probably wrong section but thought I may get more traffic on this. Thank you.

You're right forgetmenots - you can decline the measurement and blood tests - theres a box on the green maternity form for whether you consent to it or not.

I was told they'd phone me (no timescale) if there was an issue but if not my midwife would just tell me next time I see her (3-4 weeks)! I really want to know before I say anything to the kids in my class at school!
