Can anyone point me in the direction of a fabulous changing bag.

I'm after a stylish/inexpensive/practical changing bag, preferably with some sort of pattern/design on it. It needs to have a long strap which I can use to hang it across the handles as well. There's a few in TK Maxx by hop skip I think they're called, but the straps are too short.

I've no idea the sex of baby, but I don't think that mattes does it with something like this?

What have you chosen?

pickledpeppers, you're not missing out not having the Cath Kidston cowboy bag, the strap broke off mine after 3 months and had to be replaced. The quality of the lining was also poor, and the internal pockets all split at the seams. I noticed in store the other day that the straps are a different design now though (bought my first one 4 years ago).

Nothing really to add in terms of suggestions, OP, I'm just being nosey as I am also changing bag hunting this week!

Get the free one from Boots Parenting Club.

Plain black, long strap, pockets and the dad doesn't feel like a plonker for carrying some sort of floral or patterned creation around with him.

I would honestly not fork out for a changing bag until you've used the free one from boots. You dont know what you're looking for (practically-wise) until you, well, know what you're looking for.

When DS1 was little, I got SOOO annoyed with my satchel style bag - I hated the stupid flap, and it was always getting wet from milk and had crumbs and yak everywhere. Not enough pockets etc etc. Couldnt ever find anything. (Much like my work handbag is now, but thats ok, cos when I'm at work I dont need to locate stuff in a hurry!) I am a 'prepared for every occasion' gal. I NEED to have medical kits/spare clothing/snacks/drinks/wipes/nappies/keeping-kids-amused-kits and so on. Can't help myself.

My friends clubbed together and bought me a ju-ju-be packabe for my birthday when DS1 was 17 months and I still use it every day for DS2. I needed a rucksack because I spent so much time running around after him, a shoulder back didnt cut the mustard. You may not be a packabe fan, but there are lots of other designs.

I've bought this polka dot one.

Not used it yet, but love the look of it.

Room 7 bags are just flipping gorgeous, although you might need a second mortgage!!
