How did you feel at 14/15 weeks?

We are due to go down to London to watch a friend participate in the London marathon. We also went last year when DH was running it and it obviously involves much standing and walking around/getting squashed on tubes etc.

I will be 14-15 weeks at the time, I am currently 7+4 with no symptoms whatsoever so its really hard to say how I'll feel then. How did you feel at this time? Or is it a case that everyone is different?

The reason I am asking now is that train tickets hav come on sale and so ideally we would buy them sooner rather than later.

WWYD?

Should say we live in the North East, quite a long journey hence wanting to book tickets soon.

You should be fine then, no problem at all. I'd kill to be feeling like I did at 14 weeks! (currently nearly 30weeks and fed up already!)

Seriously 14 weeks is a nice time, you'll be fine.

I'm at 16 weeks now and feeling pretty good (besides rather like I have constant PMS...)! Had about 10 weeks of morning sickness which has now passed and don't even feel as tired. If you have no symptoms whatsoever at the moment you may have escaped the morning sickness - lucky! Although last pregnancy it did kick in a little later for me, but think that was around 7 or 8 weeks.

I reckon you'll be fine. But make sure you do allow time to rest. Tiredness may be your only issue.

Me and my Fiancé spent a weekend in London when I was about 15 weeks. It was tiring but not too bad. You can get special badges free from the tube stations to show your entitlement to a seat if your not obviously showing yet.

A friend of mine watched the london marathon when 34 weeks pregnant and took one of those light fold up camping chairs, so that's always an idea! Grin

You should be fine, of course not everyone is, but generally at that time the sickness is better and the bump is not heavy enough to cause you too much pain yet!
I went away for the weekend at 16 weeks and it was fine. Walking around was more tiring than i would usually find it so did have to take it a bit easier than usual. On one day we went back to the hotel mid afternoon so I could have a little nap before going out for dinner. Other than that it was totally fine. It's good to get away while you still can.

everyone is different. Just say you'l go and play it buy ear, if on the day you don't feel up to it i'm sure they'll understand

I'm 14 weeks and I feel perfectly fine. I could definitely do a couple of days in London. I've had hardly any symptoms through this pg (or my first) either. Make the most of it and have yourself a lovely weekend!

I felt great at 14/15 weeks! I had terrible all day nausea from 7-12 weeks and at 14/15 weeks I was revelling and rejoicing at how great I felt!

There are loads of places to watch the marathon from that aren't too cramped/don't involve too much walking or travel on cramped tubes - maybe pick your spot carefully?
