don't worry lala. With DS I packed really early and left it by the door, and then raided it and ate my hospital bag snacks about 10 times before I actually made it to the hospital. Sometimes it's better to leave these things.

Nothing: not packed yet, despite being 32+1. Must get round to it. No idea what clothes to put in as I haven't really used the maternity stuff from last time and have survived so far on a dress, a pair of leggings, jeans and work trousers. None of that, aside possibly from the leggings, will work post-birth. Any suggestions?
A C-section is a distinct possibility: what sort of knickers/clothes would be best?

Mine was only packed two weeks ago but I'm 5 days overdue now Angry

First time around with ds1 I took my hairdryer, straighteners and make up bag Blush

I'm 35 weeks and so far I have a few packs of maternity pads and that's it. I'm planning on taking something to wear to give birth in, some dark pj's, comfy bottoms (which I'll probs be wearing to go into hosp), few vest tops, underwear, slippers, toiletries, few babygros and vests, pack of nappies and lots of snacks.

SuiGeneris if you are having a c section take the biggest knickers you can find the sort that go right over your stomach you really don't want the waistband of normal undies rubbing on c section stitches and a nightie for the first night at least and a long one at that as you'll probably have a catheter for the first night

Sui I bought a couple of pairs of black bootleg trackie b's from Tesco for £4 each in a big size and wore those post birth. They've been awesome. Wide elasticated waistband and just super comfy.

Thank you for the suggestions, will try to track down big knickers and track suit bottoms. Have not worn the latter since I was 11, but can see the point...
How do you know what would be a suitable size? Maybe two above normal?
