Sensitive skin... any tips?

I'm 18w pregnant with DC4, in all of my other pregnancies I really have bloomed. Now I just look like a bloomin' teenager!!!

My skin is so, so sensitive. Even when not pregnant I have really clear skin so I don't know what to do with these spots! I'm not getting white gungy squeezable spots (sorry if tmi) but red, sore spots. I've got patches of dry skin all over my face. I'm making sure I take all make up off and mosturising but I seem to react to any product I use. I've even had a couple of spots on my back Blush I didn't get spots as a teenager... I think I'm making up for that now!

Any tips on good products for combination / sensitive skin? And how the hell do I stop these awful spots?

Many thanks :)

Have you tried Liz Earl...? You can buy online.

Thank you for the speedy reply jaffacakechips

I haven't heard of that brand. Just been using Simple, Aveeno and the likes so far. I'll have a look for it.

Hi, during pregnancy we should be very attentive especially concerning our skin, so when I had the same problem I consulted this article saymommy.com/mom_1118_healthy-skin-care-pregnancy-remaining-gorgeous-gestating.html use it I hope it will help)))

I love the Cleanse & Polish..pretty skin!!

+1 on the Liz Earle - I have used Cleanse and Polish for 10 years and swear by it! The moisturiser doesn't really do it for me but as a cleanser it is unbeatable. Her shampoo is also very good.

One thing to say though - a friend of mine has super sensitive skin and can't use Liz Earle because the natural ingredients in it are too strong for her skin. She can only use Dermalogica.

I have just started using Nude moisturiser as my skin has changed so much in the past few months and am loving it although it's bloody expensive! I was talked into it recommended it in Space NK and have to say I'm very impressed. A little goes a long way so it should last a long time...

I'd recommend trying to get hold of a sample to try for a week or so before investing in any new moisturiser. Nothing more annoying than pots of barely used moisturiser all over the bathroom - I speak from experience ;)

Hope you find something you like :)

Thanks eveyone, think I feel a little retail therapy coming on - and coming back with lots of samples is a really good idea :)

Liz Earle and Nude are top of the list to try. I've just been to the pharmacy and they've given me some Certraben to try on the driest areas. I've not a nasty flare up ox eczema on my shin - been so bad its bleeding. It feels much better with nothing touching it but I can't walk around with no sock and my trousers rolled up on one leg :o
