Seriously, think my body is incapable of doing it! Feel like such a failure.
Dc 1+2 were both late inductions and this baby is headed the same way :(((
Why can I not do it?? This will be my last baby and I feel like such a failure :((
Have tried
Curry
Sex
Raspberry leaf
Clary sage
Reflexology induction
Pineapple
Gardening (in feb-WTF!!)
Scrubbing floors
More sex
Bouncing on yoga ball
More reflexology
Acupuncture

McQueasy - is there anything that you can do to go and enjoy yourself or take your mind off it all? I remember the day before my last one, being in such tears with the dispare of it all. I ended up going out with the other children, taking them to an aquarium and then taking them swimming, it was the last thing I felt like doing, but once I got out, it was great to take my mind off the lack of impending birth. The children still remember that day with my crying and then taking them all off school for the day.

It might just help have a plan for the next few days til wednesday. As sb said you are so nearly there now.

Hmm... I'd be tempted to go places where it would be really inconvient if your waters broke and you went into labour... loudly saying how safe and comfortable you felt being there because you aren't having the baby till Monday... in the hope that maybe your baby is an awkward so and so? Wink

Though, you know, the sensible advice about relaxing etc is all fantastic :)

McQueasy · 23/02/2012 13:22

Now that would be funny!!
Perhaps I should start hanging round m+s!!! Grin

For places to go to panic people: Go swimming, the pool attendents panic that your waters will go while you are in the pool and they will have to get everyone out....

Go to the most expensive local resturant, and make sure you wear your best preggo outfit that would just be ruined if it happened.....

M&S - yes, but only if you can make sure a nice manager is on that will give you all the goodies should it happen there.....

but whatever you do don't go to tescos - it always started my contractions, everytime.

Grin

Sorry the sweep didn't work, but at least you have a date now and you know by this time next week you should all being well have your sleepless nights and dirty nappies.

I have been enjoying alarming people on a very similar line. Last night I was at a party until quite late. Every so often someone would come over and jovially ask if I had much longer to go? It was fun to smile and say "two days actually" and watch them take a nervous step backwards Grin.
