in my notes all the way through my midwife has written "cephalic not engaged".Today she wrote "cephalic brim". She did comment on the babys head being right down now which is aparetly good for my fifth baby. But my googling has failed to tell me if this is any different from not engaged. Some places say it is some say it isnt. I know it makes no difference at all since all of my others apart from my first have been "free" until labour but its one of those things that will eat away at me until i know Grin.

This morning I have had a slight crampy tummy so im kind of thinking - hmmm maybe ill beat the induction too it!.

I think it's the same as engaged, I've read about brim being measured in 5ths as is degree of engagement.

Brim refers to the top of your pelvic outlet, it means the baby is starting to engage or at 0 5ths.

oo well im going to take it as a good sign then - ill add " bounce on ball" to my to do list for the day just in case Grin

I'm with future... and don't worry about if baby actually engages or not, us 'multips' don't have the same muscles we once had to hold baby down there :) Wink

Good luck with delivery :)
