Mine was being able to sleep on my tummy after months of uncomfortable nights on my back!

Being able to breathe again. I swear both my DC's took up most of my lung space, I couldn't take a deep breath for the last few weeks of both pregnancies.

As soon as the surgeon whipped them out (both sections) I felt my lungs drop back down and took a great lungful of air again. God, that was lovely.

And brie and champagne took the edge off recovering and early newborn days.

Being able to turn over in bed without having to nudge DH first to get him to help.

Cup of tea and a bacon butty without being sick. That first sip after giving birth will be remembered for a long time Grin.

Being able to walk without pain.

Heartburn vanishing immediately. Mobility gradually increasing as the SPD symptoms wore off, but also just the sheer relief of being agile once more and being able to move about easily and run/jump if I wanted to. I don't think that was specific to having had SPD, just to not carrying a huge bump any longer and getting fitter. Also lying on my tummy - I remember the first time I could do it, which was about a week after giving birth, lying on my front to read a magazine and feeling so proud of myself. Oh yes, and the improved sleep!

Being able to epilate my legs! And (after a little while) my bikini line.

When I both stopped being pregnant and (another 20 months later) stopped breastfeeding, it was brilliant to be able to dose myself up if I got a cold...
