I am 8 weeks pg with DC3. I'm a SAHM with DS (2.9yrs) and DD (13 months). I feel so so awful with tiredness and nausea and feel I am taking it out on the DCs.

How did you cope with the difficult early stages of pregnancy and being at home with two little ones? I have always found pregnancy difficult and am trying to hold onto the knowledge that it is always easier when they are 'out'!

Hi.

I am a SAHM, currently 28wks with DC4. DS1 is 5 and at school full time so I have to do a mile round trip twice a day with SPD. At home I have a 3 yr old (who is mostly potty trained but we don't have a downstairs loo and the physio told me to avoid the stairs as much as possible - again cos of the SPD) and a 20month old.

Its probably not the answer you're looking for, but cbeebies did a lot more parenting than I did in the early weeks - you will get through it and at least your DC are young enough not to resent the pregnancy/baby.

Do they go to nursery at all? I count myself lucky that my younger 2 each have 2 mornings a week at nursery so they each get some 1on1 mummy time, and I get Friday ams child free (either for a nap or house work!)

Congratulations and good luck

Thanks Yorky, i feel better knowing it's not just me. I find the early weeks so hard when it's still a secret and i can't tell people why i feel so awful. This afternoon was particularly bad: me with head down the loo, DS on the potty and DD wailing because she'd fallen over.

DS does have two two hour sessions at nursery each week so i do get time with DD on her own.

I will try not to feel guilty about using the tv just to get me through these early weeks!

All the best for the rest of your pregnancy
