(Hoping that I've not posted in wrong topic -- do steer me in right direction if I have :))

I have 3 lovely little boys and am expecting a fourth DS. I just wanted to hear from anyone who has 4 or more DC of the same sex. I'm very much a 'girly girl' - slightly gutted at the prospect of having no one to share my love of pink and all 'girly' related matter but surprisingly very excited to be having healthy baby (so far so good).
They will be 4 boys under 6. Would be interesting to hear of all girl stories too!

Thanks girls :)

Hi Small wonder,

My aunt had seven DC, Six boys and one girl. First four are boys, then a girl and then two more boys. We joke she was going for a full football squad. :o

Good luck

Love being a mum to four girls, will find out what this one is when it arrives next month.
There is something very easy and relaxing about single sex families you know, enjoy!

i can be fairly relaxed most of the time! if i got £1 everytime someone said to me 'you've got your hands full' i would be very rich indeed!

sadly have heard plenty of insensitive comments about having 4 boys, but i wouldnt change it for the world, i totally expected baby no 5 to a be a boy as well, had a boys name picked out etc, dd is a delight and the boys love her to bits! but tbh i havent noticed any difference in having a girl, i am loving buying lots of pretty clothes! not pink as i am not a pink fan, but pretty things ,there is so much more choice for girls, and my ds3 loves to pick out which outfits she is going to wear! he is more 'girly' than me tho and a a big fan of tinkerbell, pink, purple and anything sparkly!

my boys have their moments and will fight/bicker etc but ultimately they play together all the time, and never ever cross one of them as they will back each other up to the hilt! its lovely when the big three come home from school and my ds4 runs up to them with a 'i missed you ...' he adores his big brothers and equally they love him, letting him win races etc on their scooters, they often all snuggle up on the sofa or in bed together to read, watch a film, they are all very different in charachter and personality but they all look very similar. it really is great :)

WoW Stuff the Nonsense, I'd be interested to know what you're having :) Congratulations!!

4madboys Even with just 3 boys at the moment (they were 3 under 3) I have heard my share of that very comment Hmm Lovely reading about your DSs -- inspirational! My DS2 said 'please mummy make it a girl so we can have someone different to play with' DS3 then said 'We don't have any girl toys so it can't come to his house' :) He is only 3.5 and it must feel like a lifetime away till LO arrives. Thank you. So glad to hear from others

I had lots of that comment too when I had 3 boys under 4 and have had it even more since adding ds4 to the mix - he is 8 years younger than ds3 - we had quite a few comments before he was born about how we must be hoping the baby was a girl etc - all we were concerned about was that it was here and i am so happy with my boys - they do have their moments as all children do but they are so affectionate with each other and ds4 , who is nearly two loves his big brothers so much - he lights up as they come in from school.
