Should be fine as the heat will kill the bugs. Let it get good and hot though.

Cook it all the way through so its piping hot and you should be fine. I've had baked camembert this pg as I have read new advice (since my pg in 2009) that the thorough cooking kills the possible bacteria.

Sounds yummy, enjoy!

Might have been pasteurised cheese anyway. Don't stress about it!

The soft cheese is probably more like a philadelphia type cream cheese. you can eat that hot or cold as much as you like.

The type of soft cheeses that you have to avoid are Brie and Camembert and anything similarly mould ripened - ie stinky cheese. Baked camembert is fine though because heat kills the bacteria, although removing the rind is perhaps a reasonable precaution too.

but soft cheese in tubs is totally ok however you want to eat it.

CARRIE- is that really you??? I've been worried about you (sorry I don't think you'll have any idea who I am but I followed your thread where you lost one twin then had a high temp and went off to hospital, then we heard nothing from you). Anyway, glad to see you here, I hope things are as well as possible.

Only mould-ripened cheese is a prob, cream cheese is fine.
