Never eat apple when have morning sickness!!!

I'm pretty sure I nearly just died. Tmi but it comes up REALLY thick and lumpy, almost dry - barely any moisture at all - I'm home alone and kept really choking on it as it got stuck in throat and actually thinking 'omg I'm actually going to die on apple sick!!!!' My head's still throbbing from the sheer exertion it took to trowel it all up! :(

Oh well, that's another of the - very quickly dwindling number - of healthy foods I can still face eating gone. Poor baby must keep thinking 'really mum?!!!! starbucks frappuccino again?! I thought you said you loved me and promised lots of 'good stuff' today?!' In my defence I'm forcing down the horrible pregnacare horsepills every night, so surely baby should be ok... ?!

Oh no, just realised I also now have jaw-ache left over from apple-gate! Oh woe...

Worst for me was oatcakes with peanut butter on. Like trying to throw up cement that's glued itself to your stomach lining

milk was the worst for me, bringing that up was VILE.

although bringing up an undigested dominos pizza (whole bits of soggy dough and slimy cheese, yeurgh) will stay with me for a long time, so much so that I cannot face ordering them again, no matter how longingly DH looks at the menu!

couldn't eat potato at all in 1st trimester of this pg either, which was odd, as I lived off them with DS.

with him, MS suddenly seemed to diminish at 20 weeks. This time, it has been on and off the whole time, so some ok days, some shocking days. I'm 21 weeks tomorrow, and was v. sick this morning, and yesterday, but was ok on saturday morning.

My morning/'all frickin day' sickness lasted until 12 weeks and 2 days - since then I've not been sick once (fingers crossed it stays that way) but I haven't been able to eat anything acidic or fatty since I found out I was pregnant. Bread products, specifically Hot Cross Buns have been my life savers.

Surprisingly it was/is drinks that I'm finding difficult to stomach, there is literally nothing I fancy.

Thanks guys, I'm going with it's going to be 13 weeks on the dot - until next Saturday at least when I may still have head down the loo at which point I'll decide I'm obviously going to be a 15 week person...

Friedrice loving the jelly idea - 'Tastes great whether it's going down or up'! Amazing! Could be an ad campaign!

Lol my worst morning sickness happened one night after eating spicy pasta at my mums - it was coming out my mouth and nose at the same time burning everything and I couldn't breath- was so glad my mum was around to calm me down and stop me panicking (an clean up her bathroom afterwards) lol god I don't miss the first trimester!

Hayley that reminds me of throwing up a pasta and sauce and pint of water into my pasta bowl a couple of weeks ago and when I'd filled that up, I moved on to the saucepan. Oh the joys of pregnancy!!!

With my first I was sick up to 26 weeks and sporadically sick from 34 weeks, I'm up to 13 weeks and still waiting for it to stop but going on last times experience, it's not going to be anytime soon!!!

Eat what you can, when you can. And wOrry about healthy eating another day!

Thank you Grumpla for the water-drinking tip. I've so far today managed to get down only frappucino and m&s prawn crackers (bizarre but true) - was terrified what hell a hellish mix that was going to be when I suddenly realised it was on it's way back, so downed a couple of big gulps of water and I have to say I think it helped. Much more volumous, but also a much easier ride.

I'm now 13 weeks and I have to say I'm getting really exhausted by all of this now. I think I'm just being really ungrateful - earlier in the pregnancy I was really grateful for a symptom no matter how horrible to reassure me that everything's ticking along, but now I'm feeling (slightly) more confident that ambivalence has gone and I just 100% hate being sick. I hate being sick, I hate the fact that sometimes - like today - I can spend 4 solid hours knowing I'm going to be sick any minute but just not knowing when; in fact some days it's been an all day 'on the verge' only for nothing to happen til late at night. Has anybody else had that randomness? I think I'd almost feel a bit better if I knew I was going to be sick say in the morning and at night, or twice in the afternoon, or whatever, but as it is it's completely different every day - some days I won't be sick at all (I got over-excited when this happened a few days on the trot this week and I started proclaiming 'IT'S GONE! IT'S OVER!!!') and others it's really terrible. I've tried to link it back to what I've eaten, but there seems to be no pattern there at all. Any trends noticed on what makes some days worse than others?

ps, sorry for such a long moan. I just really feel the need to moan at the moment - and I think dp's had enough of hearing it! I'm not really a facebook 'status' person but actually keep getting the urge to announce on there how much I hate the sickness! Doubly inappropriate as vast majority don't even know I'm pregnant!

This board is great lol. Sorry for all who are suffering but at least your moans and groans are hilariously written. I'm only just past 4 weeks, found out last week and I'm still at the 'wanting a symptom to make it real' stage. No doubt I will look back in wonder at my own innocence...
