I had ordered one (Dutailier, I think) but the shop i ordered from called last week to say the manufacturer had gone into administration Sad
it was really comfy too. Bit worried about ordering online without trying first, as the other ones I tried before settling on that one either squeaked or didn't feel as roomy and comfy. Can't remember the names or makes though.
Ta! Smile

I ended up getting a cheap one from Ikea, did the job perfectly, it was only £15

I also have the Poang from Ikea - I have a couple of big pillows on it by the arms. I have found it really comfy - and have often fallen asleep in it for long periods while sitting with DS.

(Should add DS is now 2.11 and is in his bed while I'm in the chair).

I'd vote for the IKEA poang too. Comfy, a bit of a rock motion, can replace the cushion but for £20 in the case of an incident you can't be bothered to deal with, low arms so DC can drape over it more easily than the high armed traditional nursing chairs. I love mine and that's having always been determined to have a "proper" nursin chair. DC2 due in May and the only thing we have for the nursery so far (or for it at all really) is the Poang as we decided we'd keep one in DD's room as its where we read her her bedtime stories.

Another vote for the Poang here, just needs a pillow on it and it's perfect.

I had the poang for dd1 and it was ok, but after an emcs I found it a bit of a strain to get in and out of, especially as dc1 got heavier. And I like to sit cross legged when feeding. I got a babyweavers gliding chair cheap off kiddicare and it has been really good. Not perfect, as one of the adjustable arms tends to slip, but the gliding motion was perfect for feeding and nap time, and when in labour I used it with the footstool when I had exciting contractions in the night and didn't want to disturb dh. Comfy. We still use it for stories before bed. I think there are wider models available, just whatever suits you. Footstool I would say would be a godsend after an emcs but dc2 was a vbac so I didn't use it much.

Thanks very much. I might pop to ikea to have a look. Will check out that kiddie care one too. Liked the fact that the one I had ordered had pockets in the side (there's always the windowsill though Smile )
