Any older pregnany ladies out there?

Just found out am pregnant at 44. (assuming test correct)
Really don't know what to do as early days.
Just trying to get other peoples experiences.
Will I have a nightmare time dure to my age?
Have 3 dc already 1 natural, last 2 cs.

Having already had 2 DD I can safely say that I want every single drug that is available and will be making sure it is prominently marked in my notes!!

As my eldest DD is now 23 things seem to be done so differently and have no idea what a lot of the acronyms stand for!

I am 38 and 32 wks pregnant with dc4. I am knackered!!!!!
I have dd7yo, ds1 4yo and ds2 23months. I have had a pretty uneventful pregnancy but I am just feeling worn out and so very tired at the moment.

I am in Australia and it is also the middle of summer and really hot! I know I am sounding very moany but it is just that time of day!

We found out that this baby is a girl too so I am quite excited to have another lovely little girlie to even up the numbers. Last week we bought a 7 seater car - it is so big!

Just had another scan, growth levels on target but no heartbeat seen which sonographer said is normal at this stage, how come I am not reassured? Midwife then explains in detail that miscarriage is quite common in ladies over 40, feel worse than bloody ever!!!

Pregnancy is a long old journey that's for sure; I think at any age there are risks but adviceandreassurance you've conceived so that's one battle down for you. Hopefully the next few weeks will fly in for you, they did for me.

I'm 43, now 23 wks gone and I haven't relaxed once. We lost a baby 2 years ago (chromosonal problem) I'm passed that stage now as got the all clear but I keep waiting on the next thing to happen; I dont associate this pregnancy with a baby at the end of it just yet.
Plus I'm shattered, my hips hurt, I'm short of breath and have every horrible symptom in the book, however, my hair is bloody marvellous for a change..
