TENS hire - which one?

Hello...

I've been internetting for TENS machines to hire for labour and have found (as probably everyone already knows!) that there are lots of places that you can hire them from.

Is there any difference between the Boots one here, the Mothercare one here, the Lloyds one here and the Babycare ones here apart from the price?

And if I go for the cheapest one (i.e. the Babycare one) is there any real in-use difference between the 4 models shown as available?

TIA!

All the ones you have linked above are really expensive. I got a Elle Tens machine like the Lloyds and Babycare one from TMS Healthcare for only £23.50 for a 7 week hire (with additional 2 week extra for free if needed), with practise electrodes for free, and free postage and packaging and freepost return.

HERE

They sent out the machine a couple of days before Christmas which I was really impressed with, as I only ordered it when I was exactly 37 weeks.

The Boots machine is just a complete rip off - it is really basic, and at £30 for a hire of a basic machine, it's not worth it.

Hope this helps.

honestly I would just buy one.

I got this one www.amazon.co.uk/Bodyclock-Health-Care-Ltd-Femme/dp/B000A1QKG2/ref=sr_1_4?s=baby&ie=UTF8&qid=1326557430&sr=1-4

at that time it was 20 something. It worked wonders for me. I still have it just in case I will need it again. If you look around you will find deals on different brands, get one with good reviews and if you don't plan to have more babies just sell it on ebay. I found buying was more economical than renting

Oh bum , I just ordered the Boots one yesterday. With DD, I LOVED my tens machine, but the company I used doesn't seem to exist now. This tens machine has big shoes to fill, if it really was a good as I remember it being, and now I'm not feeling confident and want the Elle one Envy. I wonder if I can cancel?

Zuleikajambiere I believe you can cancel so long as they haven't dispatched it yet.

If you think you will use one more than once it's cheaper to buy. Mine cost £40. I used it with DD1. Two friends have used it,buying their own pads and batteries, and now I plan to use it again for the next one. No idea what make it is, bought online but not from a big name like boots or mothercare. Might be femme something it was great.
