My boobs were milky all through the pregnancy but as soon as LO was born there was all but NO supply. Fortunately, i have kept the impressive growth to my boobs, i was a 34b and now i am a 36D, which makes me very happy. No need for cosmetic surgery! x

As someone else has mentioned, there is a drug that the hospital refused to give me after dd1 was stillborn. Generally though, mums that lose babies are still given this drug. The drug isn't perfect and you can still leak, or it may not really work at all. The drug is also given for some hormone problems and when it is prescribed for you you have to take the drug lying down (or something strange like that), so I think it is quite strong. I was told it had bad side affects (Christ, I had just lost my daughter, I couldn't have given a toss what happened to me). I got mastitis after dd1; horrid, horrid, terrible engorgement and milk for about three weeks. However, if you are deciding not to breastfeed as a choice, you could use warm flannels, hot baths etc, and let the milk dry-up naturally rather than forcing it, if that makes sense. Call me a cynic, but I think the drug is quite expensive and there lies the reason that some women who have lost a baby are not given it.

You could try sage leaf. I bought sage leaf tablets from holland and Barrett. Do some research first to make sure it's suitable for you but I took it to help dry my milk up. I had no professional advice though i just googled for help to dry milk up.
