Who would like to join me for a self-indulgent whinge?

I am, of course, delighted to be pregnant and am being totally self-indulgent. But I'm only 30+5, I've been pregnant for all of eternity, and I still have flipping ages to go! Who else is really not that close to the end but fed up with being uncomfortable and knackered? Not helped by having a cold and feeling under the weather, I know, but I can't help feeling a bit despairing at the prospect of weeks and weeks of getting even bigger and more uncomfortable, before being tortured for some indefinite period before I finally get to meet my baby. Come whine with me...

30 weeks with #2. Just like first, have mega bump and sick to the teeth of helpful strangers commenting "not long now dear". Not long, my huge arse....

DD1 born at 37 weeks so praying dearly this one will come early too, although after watching OBEM last night feeling a bit nervous as last labour was 36 hours and felt horrendous.

Have another 4 (albeit short 3 day) working weeks after this, but daily car-walk-train to london-walk routine via childminder (1.5 hours each way) is already exhausting.

Have 4 birthdays now to get through in next few weekends, including DD1, hopefully that will distract me (or possibly end up with me collapsed in a heap and signed off work early)

35+2 and am tired of people looking at me like I'm about to explode! Still (at least) one month to go I keep on telling people.
The HR lady at work as told both me and DP separately (we work at the same studio) that I can calm down and come in later and leave early and if I want I can start my maternity leave. But, I don't want to, I'm terrible at waiting for things and if I stay at home I'll go insane! Coming to work, dealing with grumpy people on the train, basically maintaining my normal routine is what is keeping my brain from exploding.

I think this thread needs resurrecting as I am feeling properly sorry for myself today!

25 weeks today, the heartburn has kicked in with a vengeance over the last few days and is utterly miserable.

SPD is driving me mad and I've JUST heard from the hospital about my physio - a GROUP appointment where we will discuss the causes of it and get given some exercises - that sounds fecking great.

Moan moan moan.

Oooh please can I have a whinge.

I am 29 + 5, and I can't sleep at night, not because I'm uncomfortable but because I seem to have developed pregnancy insomnia......carpal tunnel syndrome and seem to hiccup at least 40 times a night.

Work are driving me mad, assuming that I can do all the things that I used to be able to and expecting a lot more from me than I can give. I go on maternity leave in 5 weeks and 3 days and believe me, I am counting.

However - I can't wait to meet my little boy and that's whats keeping me going at the moment :o

That feels much better - thank you !
