Evening, I've searched MN and think the sharpish shooting pains in my vagina that veered off the crease of my left thigh are my baby resting on a nerve. I have had three in last half hour, the first was v strong and sharp and caused me to lift bottom of sofa and call out.

The is my second pregnancy, my DS was breach and never head down but this little girl is according to scan 4 days ago. This stage of pregnancy has felt very different down there to last one, and I never experienced BH or contractions last time so all this is new to me.

During and after these pains I felt nauseous and need to stand up and sway side to side, kinda just did this as it felt right.

Can just tell me that this is normal, feel quite emotional.

I don't know if it's 'normal' or not, or frankly quite what it was but I've had the same this evening (am 33+2). I've been wandering around swaying too so you are not alone.
I didn't have anything like this last time either.

Thanks form repliy dagtod maybe im hyper alert as I know head is down, yet fearful of what might happen tbh.

I am booked for a section (another story completely) cant help thinking I won't make it to the date but I can't say why, the this has happend.

Don't know how I'm going to get comfortable in bed, might have a late night bath. Funny feel hungry now!

Hope you have found a comfortable position.

I know exactly how that feels- I'm having a second section as well and no way am I going through labour again! I have my fingers crossed I make it to the section date but at least I know they will take me straight in should I go into labour early.

Pillows between the knees and under the bump is the only way. I wouldn't say it was confortable, but it's as close as I can get to it at the moment Grin.

I've taken to having late night hot showers and a little snack before bed.

dagtd well seems we are the same boat exactly. I wouldn't have a clue bout labour stuff now, I mean i know signs etc but oh my.....I only just got date and cried with relief.....

I have a lot of movement, I'm going to try and get comfy with pillows etc as you say, I've been v tired this week but was hoping to get some bits done this week around house. I fear all my nesting energy was used up in December on Xmas acivities/prep.

Feel like a bloody owl now, I'm so lucky to have iPad in bed, thort it a bit extravagent present from DH but now I'm coulddn't do without!
