NHS dentistry with mat exemption

I managed to crack a tooth today :(
Does anyone know if something as expensive as a crown would still be free with the maternity exemption? I checked the cost with a private dentist and it is over £400! I assuming there would be a long wait on the NHS

i think it is free. i got a shield thing for free to treat a cracking jaw.

All free while you're pregnant. Ring your dentist in the morning and they should see you very quickly for a cracked tooth.

Should be free to get something fixed. No reason why there would be a long waiting list. Just find a local NHS dentist that is taking on new patients, and they should be able to see you quickly.

Thanks all Smile. Normally see a private dentist for check ups but not sure I can afford a crown with them. Luckily have some dentist with NHS spaces locally so will ring them tomorrow.
