Pain on left hand side getting worse

ok so I have had highly pain on my LH side for quite a few weeks. Sure it isn't muscular as it bloody hurts slot when I touch it.

Last few days it has got bad to the point last night when I went to bed I had a BH on that side and truly thought I was in labour the pain was that bad - this is my 3rd DC so know what it feels like.

It's not so bad when I sit up but when I lie down LO goes mental kicking (which normally he is very quiet at night and never wakes me up) and as soon as I sit up again he settles. I can't lie on my LH side as it's too painful.

DH is due to go to work in ten minutes but as I have kept him up all night he is still asleep. Just going to wake him. Not sure I need to bother hospital midwives as my own docs opens at 8am and don't need an appointment.

I am 33 weeks btw

Can't help, but with pain that bad, you def need to see someone today. Could be something as simple at a UTI (they can cause unbelievable amoutns of pain in late pg), could be LO lying on a nerve (and just being more active when you lie left). Could be anything.
Please let them know if you have any other symptoms (changes in bowel movements, frequency of weeing, headaches, numbness anywhere etc), anything...

Could it be a fibroid?

Is it a very focal point of pain? I had an ovarian cyst with dc2. Gave an ache in my ovary coming and going for a few weeks, which I put down to 'being PG' until it popped one day and I fainted with the pain. Is quite common apparently (the cyst thing, not it popping in late pg) something to do with re-absorption of the follicle your egg came from getting stymied. I was fine with pain relief in hospital, bed rest and reassurance with mine. Hope you get answers/a smooth ride with your pain

Well I went to docs and she did a wee test which was clear. She sent me to hospital for monitoring and they said I had a UTI on their wee test! I said I had had polycystic ovaries in the past and said it felt similar to that pain (know what you mean when the egg pops as it's horrendous pain)

Put me on a monitor and trace was a bit iffy so had to stay in for the day till they got a good trace. Sent me home with co codomol and AB's. So far pain hasn't gone and have had to go down to 1 tablet at a time on painkillers as were making me feel sick. Pain is coming and going.

Have MW on Tuesday and she will give me results of wee test done at hospital. I don't feel like I have a UTI at all and am not convinced that's the problem.

LO is active still so that's all that counts atm

Poor you. I took co codomal for something different a couple of weeks ago, when I was 33 weeks. My god, it made me sick as a dog. It says to take it with food, are you managing that? I found that hard to do as pain and long days sitting around in hospital aren't exactly conducive to regular meals. Also they say it bungs you up :( so I was told to drink lots. Combine that with a vile cough and no pelvic floor- disaster.
Hope you feel better soon.

Codeine buggers about with your bowels, and may constipate you, so def. eat something (even if it's just biscuits) with each pill and drink plenty...if you find yourself getting at all bunged-up, ask for lactulose.
I can feel myself ovulate - hurts to buggery... My IBS has always presented as ovary pain, mainly because we think the inflamation rubs against my ovaries (I have large, low hanging ones!). I went through all the PCOS and endometriosis stuff to then be given the all clear, before they decided it was idiopathic IBS.
Anyway, what I'm basically trying to say is one thing might be causing something else to hurt. A mild UTI could be swelling enough to push stuff about and aggrivate your PCOS...
...if this seems like a likely scenario, buscopan might help. Try asking about that.
