Cheers. I went to the consultant at local hospital and he said there was nothing wrong with me! I have asked my doctor as I know there is something wrong. Just awaiting a new appointment1

It is quite common actually. I had one after birth of both my kids, not serious but a bit unpleasant shall we say... Went to physio at hospital after birth of 1st and was told to do pelvic floor exercises. Needless to say, I hardly ever did them. It just got better by itself but if I had done the exercises it probably would have got better quicker. I have hypermobility syndrome ('double joints' to lay peeps) which affects roughly 3% of population and apparantly prolapses are more common if you have this. My advice would be not to worry and keep doing the pelvic floors!

The only prob is Im 18 weeks pregnant.

The reason Im worried is because there is a risk of misscarriage and premature birth. I have been told by 3 doctors that is what it s but the consultant said its not.

Just got to sit tight until I go over my 20-24 week mark.

How scary - especially as no one seems to be singing from the same hymn sheet. I have done a google search for you and from what I can glean, unless the prolapse is severe, there is no risk to your baby. It is quite common in pregnancy and the advice is to do pelvic floors and wait till after the birth to see if surgery is required (probably not necessary). This is about the best I could find prolapse . Rubbish at links so hope it works!

Thanks Cha.

I have been told that there is risk of miscarrage and premature birth. Just hope it doesnt drop futher.
