at 18 weeks your baby still has loads of room and may have his back to you, so you not feeling things could be because he is kicking backwards!

if your at all concerned then phone your midwife or go to the hospital.

Contact your MW or doctors if you are ever concerned. They can soon put your mind at rest with scan etc.

ring your midwife, they can usually come out to you or suggest you drop in and see them and then can have a listen in to baby witht hteir sonicaid. failing that take some time out, sit down read a magazine have a hot drink followed by a cold drink, sometimes this wakes baby up and it protests by kicking you alot.

baby m,ay just have been kicking you all night while you were aslepp and that is why you haven't noticed as much. don't feel your tummy yourself as you don't know what you are feeling and it can cause you to panic, you may just be feeling your bowel etc and nothing to do witht eh baby!

i'm sure you'll be fine but if you are worried always best to coantact your midwife. the number should be on your notes.

mws are used to dealing with anxious mums to be so don?t worry - it is her job to reassure you
Hard lumps and bumps could well be elbows, head, foot etc - don?t worry, lumps and bumps within your bump is normal. I remember lying in the bath and being horrified to see my entire tum move one side to the other is a gigantic Alien movie moment!
Sometimes I think we stop noticing movement and almost get used to it after first couple of weeks. Then remember about it and panic - I know I did with both of mine. Also if you are distracted and busy you might well not notice. Again, position of baby might limit you noticing movement if they are further down/back etc. Perhaps routine has shifted - you sleeping might make the baby move at night.
Another thing is that over christmas there is more noise, richer food t contend with etc perhaps as your life has calmed down, so has babies? I know if I had a sugar hit when pregnant, I noticed my baby more active a while afterwards and mw confirmed that this is a possible scenario when I asked mine.
COuld be loads of things, try not to worry. If any other symptoms arrive or you are losing sleep worrying, give your mw a ring
