..isnt it!!
Early days( 6weeks) and lots of hurdles to cross due to being 41 and my first ever pregnancy, but its sinking in, slowly, and being a grown up(?? What... Contraceptives??!) im now starting to think of how the hell im going to afford it, in a foreign country with no friends to donate!!
So, would love to hear of some of you average spends... Lets say, up to take home said baby!
Thanks!

If it's any help I am currently reading this - The Resourceful Mother's Handbook, which focusses on making do and not buying unnecessary things.

Anyone at work willing to donate? Nearly new sales? Neighbours? And remember babies can always sleep in a drawer Grin
congratulations

Don't know I'm afraid, but you can save money in loads of ways.

In the UK, nct sales, etc are good for big ticket items. All you really need to buy new is the car seat and the cot mattress (unless you co-sleep).

Have a read of all the 'crap I bought' threads to get a sense of what not to buy.
