quick question - please don't flame me....

has anyone used CBFM to attempt to conceive either a DS (by SWI at 'peak' time only) or a DD (by SWI on 'high' days only)?

i would welcome stories of anyone's experiences on this?

Thanks

No. After I forked out so much money for it, along with its expensive sticks, I just used it to improve my chances of getting pregnant. And in any case I don't believe in any of that select the gender hocus pocus.

We used a CBFM to conceive - not for any reason other than to increase our chances of getting pregnant.

SWI on high days only as were shagged out but the time it peaked & are having a boy.

Don't know if that's useful!

I read something somewhere a while back that confirmed this all as a load of tosh. Basically, recent studies show that although the sperm determines the gender of the foetus, the egg has some say in which sperm it "let's in" (for want of a better description). Therefore if you are actively trying to conceive one or the other by using this method, yes you may be getting the right (as in m or f depending on preference) swimmers to the egg but you may just be drastically reducing your chances of conceiving.
