Mine was only a little more than 900 and the doctor in the epu wasn't hopeful it would have a good outcome. I'm going back on Friday for 48hr repeat bloods because I have a history of ectopic with the left tube removed.

I'm still trying to be hopeful as I've read about women who have had slow rising hcg with good outcome.

I'd love to hear any positive stories to keep my spirits up.

TIA Smile

In all my pregnancies i've had pain from my ovary which have been cysts, so i'm really hoping its something like that and nothing serious.
Google can be great but something it can scare the hell out of you..... i google things far too much & end up worrying myself mad.
Hoping tomorrow will bring you some good news xXx

I have had similar one sided pain, I've attributed it to ligaments etc. One week its one side and one week its the other. I have a similar pain right now in fact, I'm about 7+3 today.

Try not to worry, but we all know how impossible that is x

Thinking of you today Cookie x

Sorry I didn't get back yesterday, it was a very tiring day.

Not out of the woods yet, didn't have the scan but hcg had doubled in the 72 hours which is what they expect once they're over 1000-1200. The reg seemed very happy with them anyway so fingers crossed.

The doctor I saw on Friday forgot to change my original scan from Wednesday to Yesterday so the scan department said I had to wait until lunchtime. When lunch came they said I would have to wait until the end of the day because they were booked all afternoon so I told them it wasn't my fault I wasn't booked, I was tired because I had gotten up at half six to be there and my dh had worked the nightshift and was due to work last night again so I was going home. I asked if they would do my bloods again (had asked that morning but they said not until after the scan!) and went straight home afterwards.

Horrible day but at least I know I'm actually booked in tomorrow so we'll find out one way or the other in the morning.

Having lots of period type cramps but the pain in my side has eased. All going well at the scan I'm going to ask them to check my progesterone too in case I need a supplement.

Thanks for all your messages. Hope to be back tomorrow with good news.

Thank you for updating, I've been checking all day.

You'd think they could squeeze you in for a quick scan, they should realise just how stressful and worrying it is.
Good idea to get your progesterone levels checked, they checked mine when i had my hcg levels checked but i had already started on the progesterone anyway.

Good luck for your scan tomorrow, i will be thinking of you x

Good luck tomorrow, will check back to see how you get on - fingers crossed!

SESthebrave · 30/11/2011 09:10

Good luck for the scan today. (I think it's disgraceful that they didn't squeeze you in yesterday!)
Doubling of HCG is definitely a good sign and I've got everything crossed for you x

It's over. Outside hospital waiting for a bed. Saw my beautiful little baby on the screen, heart beating just in the wrong place.

I can't believe they're going to take him. I love him. Don't know why I think he's a boy, I just feel it.

God will mind him and all of us.

CookieRookie · 03/12/2011 12:34

Hi all,

Sorry I've left it so long to come back and thank you for your messages. I appreciate them all, thank you so much.

I don't know how I feel but I expect it will be up and down for a while yet. The hardest part is accepting I can never get pregnant naturally again. I'm just taking it a day at a time for now.

Take care
