27 weeks pregnant second time round with sciatica, piles, a prolapse and varicose veins you-know-where (by far the worst) and just cant believe how unbelievable different its been this time!

Am being absolutely vile and short-tempered with poor DD (3YO) whos just being a normal frustrating kid, even swearing in front of her which is awful but I just seem to snap so quickly.

Am thoroughly ashamed of myself! Anyone feel the same out there????

I am only nearly 9 weeks and apart from waves of nausea and fatigue could not complain much. However I am vile with everyone around me and have no patience whatsoever. I am mainly frustrated that I am the only one that uses brain in our family and that I have to do everything myself if I need things done. I am getting tired when my DD manage to produce 100 worlds a minute and DH needs everything to be explained over and over again. :):) Sometime I feel they ( DD and DH) deserve my wrath but sometime I am def going overboard.

Hi, i'm feeling the same have pre existing back problem that caused spd, can't take the pain killers to help without it making me sick, terrible constipation and varicose veins down below, plagued with urine infections, bored shitless and can't sleep properly... honestly i go to the doctors abotu once a week these days.

Feeling very bitter toward my own body cause it's so crappy it's not nice to feel this way. Every time i hear myself moan i want to tell myself to shut up and suck it up!

I sympathise. I don't think there is a tactful/nice way of saying I'm glad its not just me!

Am only on 1st preg and doing my nut. Mumsnet is the only thing stopping me going postal... 23w, working from home with spd and dh (the "d" in "dh" is getting strained!) seems to think being at home all day means I am the washing and cleaning fairy... I can't even get up and down stairs easily, let alone carry clothes down 2 flight of them, whilst trying not to trip over 2 curious cats who seem to want to kill me.

Incidentally, trying to fit 10 hours worth of freelance work into the 8 hours from 9-5, whilst allowing time for meals and snacks. Angry

This had better be worth it... Wink

I am 17 weeks and everybody at work is getting on my (ever-increasing) t*ts today! Not sure how long it will be until I snap at someone.

Oh how I wish I could work from home so that I could be miserable on my own time. I don't feel that bad, I'm just really tired (finding it impossible to sleep through the night) and hormonal and close to tears all the sodding time.

VikingLady · 23/11/2011 11:45

Working from home sounds ideal, but there is no-one to jolt you out of your mood with a joke, or a conversation. Just you, your computer screen and the sodding cats.

On the plus side, no-one with B.O. on the bus!

kiki22 · 23/11/2011 18:51

vikinglady didn't anyone tell you you automatically become the cleaning fairy when your pregnant at home, i mean what else do you have to do?? you have a whole 8 hours to clean the house gives you plenty of time to crawl up and down the stairs lol

best i've heard yet is well your not at work so surely you can clean... eh if i can't manage to sit in an office on my arse all day what makes you think i can manage to scrub the bloody bath and clean the windows!

VikingLady · 23/11/2011 18:55

And I am doing a full day's work as well! Apart from skiving to play on mumsnet...

kiki22 · 23/11/2011 19:20

aaa but you could use the time you usually would spend commuting cleaning and washing you see and you obviously don't need a lunch hour if your not in the office could clean the kitchen while eating your sandwich lol Grin

Viking Lady - do the cats sit on the computer keyboard? They do that to my DH and it drives him insane.

Totally get where you're coming from: my mood swings are a nightmare and def not helped when DH says 'Oh it's just your hormones' whenever I'm upset/angry/irritated. Does he think that helps?!?! He's usually fairly enlightened - not the sort of bloke who would say 'Oh is it that time of the month?' so we've had words...

Good luck with DH, work and 2 'sodding' cats! You have my empathy!
