Someone said that there is a must have pram blanket that is £48, anyone have any idea?

I'm thinking of it as a gift for a friend.

thank you -

Blanket knitted by granny while visiting newborn DS. I am so lucky with my MIL. Grin

Get some good quality fleece from a drapers/haberdashers. They do still exist. Edge with pretty ribbon, and use more of it to sew on the baby's initial in the middle. Or even whole name if feeling competent. And put the massive amount of change you will have from £48 into the baby's university slush fund.

TBH I had very sicky babies that threw up seemingly everyday, I ended up with a stash of cheap fleece blankets so that they could just get thrown in the wash and I could pull out another one to use so its probably good I didn't buy an expensive one because it would have spent most its time in the washer.

I heart this and have ordered it, yay for originality and has all the appeal of the M and P one.

How much do I love this post!?! The first thing we bought for baba was pastel coloured striped blanket from M&P's after 12 week scan... After 20 week scan the second thing we bought was pink striped blanket from John Lewis. Slight obsession with blankets now... My best friend keeps laughing at me for buying blankets on every shopping trip and nothing else!!

Now I've found this link I've added the pink fair isle one to the list and the baby calm wide stripey to the list!!! Loving the £99 one but really... That may be slightly out of my league!!!! Love the gingerbread one too. Baby is due in March so hanging on for Jan sales :-)

By the way, just in case I get hung, drawn and quartered about my love for nice blankets... It's just my thing ok!?!?! Grin

I know it's not as trendy/ expensive/stripey/cashmere as all the others linked but I have bought one of these for every new baby I know and subsequently so have friends. I was super excited to be bought one for dd1 and shall be most cross if dd2 doesn't get one when she arrives!

My 8yo niece asked for one for Christmas last year because she was sad that I hadn't discovered them when she was born. They're gorgeously soft and fluffy
