I sympathise, it's quite scary reading all that count the kicks for the first time (I'm a first timer too). Some babies don't move as much as others (my mum, who had 5 kids, says my brother barely moved throughout the entire pregnancy and it continued after his birth as well - he's still like it now lol), I think it's really about becoming familiar with your own baby's pattern. For instance, mine is a lazy little thing in the mornings and at night, never much movement at all but later afternoons and evenings he/she really comes alive. Plus I noticed that movements changed at different stages of my pregnancy. I've been in for monitoring once when I felt that my movements weren't as strong as usual and it turned out the baby had moved position and that's why I wasn't feeling them as strongly - but baby soon got back into the swing of things :).
When I went in for monitoring, I spoke to the midwife and I went in when they told me to, I didn't wait to ring them because I really felt that if something was wrong, I'd have felt so much worse had I procrastinated about making that call and wasting time.
At your stage (I'm now 35weeks) I didn't feel very much but generally had some sort of movement every day but it wasn't very regular.
I don't know about you but after reading that count the kicks stuff I was almost scared to identify what my baby's pattern was for fear that I might find out something would go wrong. I know that sounds silly but it is a scary thing.
Anyway, don't know that I've been much help but I what I wanted to say really is you're not alone, just concentrate on yourself and your own patterns.

Don't worry hun, every baby is different and I'm sure mother's sensitivities to movement must be different too, and depending on baby's position etc.

I am in two minds as to how positive the count the kicks campaign is. Clearly it is good to be aware of what is 'normal' movement for you and your baby, but sometimes I think that focusing on these things too much just leads to more to stress and worry about. And pregnancy is so full of worry and anxiety as it is! A relaxed and happy Mummy is definitely what's best for baby!

My midwife said to try to start being aware of movement from around 26 weeks. I guess before then there is too much space for baby to get lost in! And that's just a general rule of thumb. She said not to worry about amount of movement, just try to be aware of what is normal for you.

Also do take into account whether you have an anterior placenta or not. I have one and felt movements much much later than some other ladies. Now I'm a punching bag!
