are you going to sort out contraception now?

sparklymieow · 07/01/2006 13:03

15 months between my girls, was supposed to be 17 but dd2 came 2 months early, its a lot of fun

expatinscotland · 07/01/2006 13:05

inspired me! i called the well woman clinic to set up my 6 week postnatal and get some birth control!

best of luck, star.

CaptainDippy · 07/01/2006 18:47

Any more thoughts Star??? My DD2 came early too sparklymeiow - so there's just under 15 months between them instead of 16 and a bit - I think they do it on purpose!! Whatever happens it will be ok star - we're all here to support you!!

starshaker · 07/01/2006 19:52

i got the pill but had to stop taking it as docs originally thought that was what was causing my headaches (oh and another note i get my xray on monday what if i am pg) but it wasnt that and forgot to go back on stupid me

mummytosteven · 07/01/2006 19:54

make sure you tell them that there is a possibility you could be PG before you have your X-Ray (I imagine they would probably ask anyway!).

aprilmeadow · 08/01/2006 10:31

In a similar situation Starshaker. I did a test on Thursday - came up neg - but think it might have been too early and no sign of AF yet. Going to test again on Tuesday, when i will def be late. Starting to panic as i too got my AF 8wks after having DS, but they have been as regular as clockwork ever since.

starshaker · 08/01/2006 17:14

well did test today and it came up neg but could still be too early so i bought a 2 pack and will test later if no af

CaptainDippy · 08/01/2006 18:39

?lad you did a test, Star - What would your age gap be if you were pregnant, aprilmeadow? Thinking of you guys and will be watching the thread to se whether af makes it's return etc!!

aprilmeadow · 09/01/2006 08:48

There would be a 17mths age gap. Still no AF.

Starshaker, what brand are you using?

starshaker · 09/01/2006 09:08

i used clear blue but i dont know when af is due but it was 2 weeks after the deed

OP posts:
aprilmeadow · 09/01/2006 10:01

Try First Response. When we were trying for Jack, i used clearblue and it came up neg, but i used a first response 2 days later and it was pos!

CaptainDippy · 09/01/2006 10:38

17 months is not so bad, aprilmeadow - I have 15 months between my 2 DD's - See the "What age gap is best?" thread to get my full opinion on the ups and downs of this gap!! Still watching this thread with interest - It's going to ok guys!!

Toothache · 09/01/2006 10:52

Starshaker - You must tell the Radiagrapher that you might be pregnant! Have you done another test this morning?

starshaker · 09/01/2006 13:12

the hosp did a test and it was neg but made me wear an apron anyway. need to wait 2 weeks for results of xray

OP posts:
Toothache · 09/01/2006 13:15

Phew!

Are you still getting headaches?

fastasleep · 09/01/2006 13:18

No one took the p*ss out of you! How unfair!!

(Sorry about the headaches, glad they made you wear an apron)

CaptainDippy · 09/01/2006 13:24

Phew - Keep us posted though!! (Wee in the firdge if you're not too sure!)

starshaker · 09/01/2006 13:32
