i would have thought it was good for the bump as they sleep when mummy is in motion and the LO needs all the sleep they can get before being born, and start to keep their slaves parents awake all hours

I suspect that they were boring old farts women not in touch with their 'inner child' who think that it is undignified for a grown-up to go on swings full-stop and they were trying to make you feel silly.

I do stuff like this all the time and my child hasn't even been born yet! I can't wait until I have an actual excuse to do kid's stuff.

hmm, i should imagine the to-and-fro motion would be great at rocking baby into optimum birthing position

i can also imagine that these women dont wash their hair when they are having their period
