Stretch Mark Cream - What do you use?

I know I cant avoid them - I have some from my first pregnancy - although I had none until I got pre-eclampsia and sort of bloated up like the michelin man...

That time (7 years ago, eeek) I think I used Bio-Oil, but I hated the texture/smell.

What do/did you use, and did it work for you?

I used prenatol and did not get even one. Having said that my son is thirteen next week so it might not still be around!

I've used The Sanctuary mum to be one for two pregnancies now and don't have a single one. Although I think genetics has a lot to do with it, my mum and sister didn't get any either.

Palmers cocoa butter - much cheaper than bio oil and I don't have a single stretch mark (I did have my DS 5 weeks early though so don't know if that made any difference).

Bio Oil makes me heave, just the smell does something to me. The thing is, if you've already got them from one pregnancy, ime you are unlikely to get anymore. I got loads when I was pregnant with dd, and not a single new one with ds, when he (and I Blush) was much larger by the end. Just get something you like the smell of if you want to use something, as it'll make bugger all difference.

Using the mamma mio oil, still none but at 26+4 it's still too early to sing victory. Their butter is also nice, both have nice yet not too strong smells.

Palmers cocoa butter for all 3 (last 2 big babies 9 lb + and 42 weeks). No stretch marks!

Another vote for Palmers cocoa butter. 1 bloody annoying stretch mark on my tummy that appeared after giving birth to my DS2.

I alternated between Eve Lom TLC cream and the significantly less expensive Asda Mummy-to-be cream. Neither did any sodding good and I am stripey like a tiger.

Just to add- I had none until late on, but my skin felt tight and sore so I knew it was pretty inevitable.

Asda Little Angels maternity oil. I got a few but they're not v noticeable. I'm actually still using it now as it smells so good, and the eco baby oil for DS. Cheap too - I think £2.50 for two bottles.
