...keep asking "any signs yet?!!"

I know they mean well, but some are asking every other day and it's getting annoying!

I'm inclined to ignore them but this will probably make them assume I'm in labour. Plus I don't intend to inform anyone apart from our parents when things start kicking off.

Sorry to be a grump but my tolerance levels are low atm!

anyone who gets pissed off about this is just being precious.

People are interested in your life and probably excited for you. Be glad that they are!

Sil is in a similar position. Thank you for reminding me.

Although I know she knows it's only because we love her and my bro and are all soooo excited about their long awaited baby.

I went two weeks overdue and was very irritable by the end with the endless 'Is he here yet?' questions especially for family who would have been the first to know.
I started to answer with 'Oh, yes. I had him yesterday. Didn't I tell you?' in probably a snarkier tone than I should have. Stopped the questions though.
It was the 'when is he due' questions after he arrived that really annoyed me Blush

Someone (no names no pack drill) sent me card with Little Miss Late on it. My sense of humour was remarkably absent that day.

I know she meant in kindly but I was the size of a house, a week past due date at that point and showing absolutely no signs whatsoever. Rather meanly I was glad at the time that I went another week Blush

This is what people bang on about when they say 'everything changes after you have kids'. 'Everything, what?' I used to ask. Just everything. Including being connected to everyone through your little kid. The interest just keeps growing ;) - welcome to motherhood.
