I am 24 weeks now the last few days i have had alot of discharge. Not waters im pretty sure , its not really leaking other than the occasional wet spot and its i think a little too thick (sorry!). I have had my pee dipped i have no infection and i dint have any other symptoms so soreness or itchiness or anythign like that.

I have tried pads in past pregnancies but even with changing them very very regularly i seem to get thrush for some reason which i am MORE than keen to avoid.

Is there anything else i could do the midwife was not interested because i didnt think it was waters leaking but the last couple of days i just feel icky liek i need a shower all the time and its pretty annoying!

Thrush could be from the chemicals in the pads. Maybe worth trying an improvised 'cloth pad' - i.e. some soft folded up fabric which you can change easily? If that works better then you could buy some 'proper' cloth pads (never tried them but seem to be lots available on the internet).

How about washable pads? That way the chemicals of plastic pads won't be irritating you and cotton pads would still be breathable? I have not used them myself but would invest if this happened to me, esp since you could be like this until baby arrives!
I know it is beyond grim, I was wearing panty liners early in my pg as I was having the same problem.

Have you tried Natracare pads? They aren't treated with harsh chemicals, so are less likely to make you itch. You can see them [[here

I think some health food stores sell them too. I also get very itchy from the usual ranges of pads, but have found these don't irritate me.
