Glider/feeding chairs - are they worth buying?

I've seen some on ebay for £100-ish (£300-500 new!!), although I'd have to drive halfway trhough england to collect them! They do look very confy & I had loads of trouble beastfeding last time (mastisits twice). Also I am pretty flat-chested so even with a booster pillow I always had to lean forward which really did my back in. Thought the support from the cvhair might help?

If you can afford it and have the space = good idea. Personally, I prefer not to have feed in just the one place.

i think you definitely need to try them. i found that mine really wasn't great for feeding in... needed cushions to prop ds up on, and the footrest put my legs at completely the wrong height!

that said, i still use the chair a lot! and i do know people who absolutely LOVE theirs!

but try it to make sure it will be comfy for you as they do vary

i love love love my glider chair (also have a glider foot stool). I thought it was just a gimmick, but I had one in my hospital room and had to get one. I spend sooo much of my life feeding it's lovely to have somewhere comfy to do it.

Agree that you should maybe try one first, have you also looked on kiddicare? They do them from £100

I've used a really cheap (£20) wicker chair from IKEA with a v-shaped cushion (£7 Argos) in front of me to raise my arms/baby

Didn't have a 'feeding chair' as such, but I already had a recliner and it was a brilliant place to feed. Tables both sides with phone, remote, books and drinks, put my feet up and snuggled up for however long it took. Maybe that's why ds never turned into one of those babies who feeds for only a few minutes?

If you can afford it, then I'd say it's worth trying.
