Hi all,

I am 27 wks pregnant, still feeling quite active and energetic and luckily for me have so far sailed through pregnancy without too many niggles. My bump is neat and relatively compact...for now!!

I am due to be going to a very close friend's 30th tomorrow, halloween party in a house however later on i would imagine most of the party will leave to go to some bars / a place to dance. I am unsure what to do. I have given my OH permission (lol) to go as it's one of his best friends. The party is near our house but i'm wondering what people's views are on being out in a bar late when at this stage? Obviously i won't be drinking but if i feel energetic enough should i go or will i just get loads of hassle and feel out of place?

The bar i think they will go to has lots of seating etc so i would't have to dance but i guess it could be busy due to halloween.

Advice would be welcomed. I suddenly feel like the odd one out as i can't go out :( we are the first of our friendship group to get pregnant and so i guess i have no wing man!

People bumping into you is just annoying, anyway, it's not going to harm the baby.

I'm out tomorrow night (restaurant) and Sunday night (pub) at 35 weeks+. It's not an issue.

Absolutely go out. I went out at about 27 weeks and had a brilliant time. I didn't buy a single (soft) drink all night as my friends wouldn't let me and I didn't have to faff about with getting home as I was walked to my car and drove myself.

To top it all off, someone who I had always had a bit of a crush on told me I looked sexy and womanly and I was Grin Grin about that for weeks.

Thanks guys. This has made me feel so so much better and happier about wanting to go! Also mentioned to a couple of close friends who have said they're happy to shifts sitting with me if I need and will walk me home
whenever I want! Really looking forward to
it now! Happy Halloween!

You don't need to sit down all night just because you are pregnant! I had SPD with DS and was ceilidh dancing at 39 weeks.

Just be normal. If you want to dance, dance!
