a dressing gown for hospital - mine and OHs are really think so they will be way too hot - can't seem to find a thin one - considering i'll barely be wearing it (hopefully)

What about fitflops - I've left it too late to get them - can find cheap crocs tho for the shower...

I wore jeans and plimsolls. I was in for 4 days with DS so just sent DP to get me changes of clothes. I felt a bit weird sitting around in PJs all day but I took them for nights.

Just realised jeans may not have been helpful suggestion if you have CS?
Sweat pants as well were useful for lounging! And you can wear them to sleep in and still look like you made the effort to get dressed the next day if any early visitors show up!

Yes. During labour if you dont have a toilet in the room do you really want to be trudging across to the loo with your arse on show if you need to put a hospital gown on. If you have a CS, you might not feel like getting dressed, so it's good to have something to cover up with. I Almost didn't take mine, but i was glad i did as I lived in it for the time I was in!

thought I'd update I got 2 nightshirts with buttons from matalan and a nice light dressing down for £21 - bargain.

I may get some PJs cos I'll wear them at home more once i'm outta hospital but will look on eBay for them!
