Just wondered if im being overly optimistic!

When did u or will you start M/L?

I'm 32w with baby no. 1 I'm hoping to start at 38w - I'm a nanny working a 53 hour week + commuting.

36 weeks with ds, I wanted to go later but they wouldn't let me.
This time I am working in the same place but doing a much more physical job so I will be stopping at 32 weeks. Just in time to take 9 months then start back at the start of the summer holidays Grin

I thought they couldnt make you go on Mat leave but if your job was unsuitable they had to find you a position more suitable?

I was planning onworking until 38 weeks but ended up finishing work at 32 weeks because I felt like total crap and could barely do my job and didn't feel safe driving with SPD and still being sick.

I'm so glad that I did as it gave me time to relax, feel better and get excited!

DC1 38.5 weeks, could have gone on till 40 weeks but weather was too nice :) wanted to be off for as long as possible afterwards.

DC2 32 weeks, struggling to keep up with everything although sleeping better and not as uncomfortable as with DC1 - life is just harder when you have another child to add into the equation.

i stopping at 39+3 assuming all is well. 10 weeks left or so and counting

38 weeks with DD - desk job. Was ready to go by then.

This time had planned 37 weeks but actually finished yesterday at 36 weeks as really getting to the point of exhaustion - toddler to run round after and this DS is bigger I am sure! Massive difference between now and even just 2 weeks ago - then I was pretty much fine, now I really struggle with our stairs and get whacked doing the smallest thing.
