How much paternity leave is your DP going to get?

Mine's on 2 weeks annual leave anyway, conveniently, then taking one week full pay pat leave, one week spp patleave. Lovely month off for him!

I think the law would contradict what your DHs employer is saying, and he should speak to them. ALSO, he needs to speak to his employer re: annual leave. If they do not allow him to take his remaining leave, they are breaking his contract. They need to either give him the leave; pay him for it; allow him to add it onto next year.

He can have two weeks but with no pay at all. He is a teacher on a new contract so I think his getting the option of two weeks is great in itself.

He wants to break it up into taking two days off a week over a few weeks instead of two whole weeks in one go.

This thread just reminded me to ask him if his hours have been confirmed yet, thanks OP!

We won't be taking the whole two weeks BTW, will probably just opt for 6 days over three weeks.
