Did your midwife listen for heartbeat at 16 weeks?

i cant remember with my other children but did your midwife try to listen for the heartbeat at 16 weeks?
Alsi i am bigger now than with them, i am about size 16 so will that mean it will be alot harder to find (was 14 before but much less wieght on my tummy )

NICE do not recommend listening for fetal heart at all so I think it depends on the MW, and whether you ask or not.

A lot of places won't try before 14 weeks as you have to be 'lucky' to find it.

With my pregnancies - 1st time 16-weeks. 2nd time (different area) it was 24.
