Anybody else feel very angry when pregnant? am about 24 weeks and seem to vaguely remember this from last time. I mean there are things to be angry about (ghastly PILs messing with Christmas, lazy DP...) but I don't usually get quite so angry about this stuff. Am very angry at work and think am possibly scaring clients (although some of them probably think it's kicking ass and seem to like it)....

Oh god, not so long ago there was a huge thread about angry pregnant MNers. You are certainly not alone !

Ican sympathise totally. Although I'm not as bad this time as the last time round. When I was pg with ds I was ready to rip the head off anyone who annoyed me at work - this time I'm just tired.

WOnder if the fact that it was a boy meant there was loads more testosterone floating round in my system?

Oh God yeah! I actually thought my head would explode because I got that angry one time, I actually gave myself a nose bleed. I'm 31 weeks at the moment and can't stop crying - I think my DH thinks I'm being possessed!

Which, of course, you are by this fabulous little alien...

So funny ... I'm known for being very unassertive & apologetic - starting every sentency with 'Sorry' & ending with 'but it's probably my fault'. But now I've become all strident & stroppy with pregnancy hormones. For example, a man with a big beer belly barged me out of the way to get a seat on the tube, I carried on trying to sit down, he pushed back... (normally I would have scuttled away, apologising). Instead this time I looked pointedly at his belly & said 'Oh, sorry, didn't realise you were pregnant too'. Lucky I didn't get punched! I pointed out to my annoying colleague who was complaining he 'couldn't hear himself think' that since he's only made bad decisions in the past few weeks, I can't see that he's been doing much thinking up to now anyway. My DH says I'm really scarey. So strange, I've always been the complete opposite!

Ha ha ha, I wish I could have seen that
