Maternity clothes - what you wearing?

I really wanted to post this in Style, but thought I might have more luck here. I need help!!

I am having the biggest most annoying faff on with clothes.
Am a 14-16 size normally, but have a large bump already. I'm going to need a winter wardrobe as baby not due till christmas. Maternity jeans (over the bump type) are a nightmare, they keep falling down off my bum, I seriously need braces as I have to hoick them up all the time.
I don't need work clothes, so thats ok, but I need some comfy staples and a decent maternity fitting autumn/winter coat, as live in a wet place and do lots of walking every day. Everything I see in Next etc have short sleeves, and I think I'm going to freeze..
I hate maternity clothes......

Oh and I bought a pair of leggings from Boden in the sale - 13 quid it'd be rude not to. They came up FUCKING ENORMOUS Shock! Less leggings, more "slacks"! Grin However, I'm getting bent, poked & prodded by the physio so they'll be perfect for that - and I'm sure come january when I'm beached they'll be a god-send.

Jenny, I told dp about the cape and he looked at me like I was a mad woman, he thought i was talking about a proper tie at the neck superman cape!

I was a size 16 and at 15 weeks am at the stage of ordinary clothes being too small and maternity ones being too big. Last time I was pregnant over the summer so I just had a couple long stretchy skirts, XL t-shirts and a couple loose dresses, and sandals and that was it.
This time I'm dreading it as I'm always cold in winter. I've got lots of long t-shirts to resolve the gap between top and trousers problem (no joy in M+S but Sainsburys had lots), a couple long loose knitted cardi/top things for over t-shirts when it gets a bit colder, 1 pair maternity jeans and a pair of black striped mat trousers, both Next, but they both need a belt atm. And I got a great size 18 mat coat off Ebay which is waterproof and should be able to fit 3 jumpers as well as huge bump.

I might have to try leggings and stretchy skirts together when it gets cold.

Just got a great haul delivered from next. Bought a second pair of their jersey trousers with fold over top. Found these stayed up from very early on. Some lovely long vests to keep me warm in the winter and a couple of light jumpers and a pretty top. Cheered me up on a grumpy pregnancy day.

I agree with a couple of pairs or nice fitting maternity jeans. I used to live in jeans and unfortunately when I hit 10 weeks they were the first thing to go ;-(.

I looked on Ebay the other day and there are some really great maternity bundles / job lots people are selling. I wish I had thought of this earlier so I had more choice and less expense!
