When does 'baby brain' start kicking in? I've got a bad enough memory as it is and wonder whether I'll remember who I am when this kicks in!

I noticed around the 5 month mark that I was no longer able to do several things at once. Unthinking I turned to my boss and said, "Imagine, men have to cope with this all the time." Didn't go down to well - he's male.

I do think it exists for some women. I've always been a focused, no nonense, head on straight type of girl but at 5 weeks I: a) put my bank card in the payment machine the wrong way round (3 times) Blush, b) stalled my car in the middle of a busy junction and - most embarassingly - c) put a box of crunchy nut cornflakes in the fridge.

'Baby Brain' was one of the things that made me suspect something was up and take a test.

I think it's like any other pregnancy sympton, some women get it, some women don't. Smile
