Change bags, do I need one, are they useful?

I am on baby number 3, due october. I have never used a change bag, just stuffed everything into various bags to hang on the pram. I am not a very organised person :). I was wondering if anybody thinks it is worth buying/can recommend a suitable bag as this time round my DS is still in nappies so I will have two lots of gear to transport. Should I carry on with my shoving or try to transform into a person with organisational skills? Any advice, thanks.

ps I'm not really a yummy mummy either :( I'm lucky if my dd lets me have 5 minutes to myself to get ready in the morning and that might get even less when baby arrives!

...and she has trashed every little bit of makeup I had :( (usually ends up smothered in it or colouring the sofa with it)

I'd say you don't need one marketed as a change bag, but what I found I really needed were the pockets so you can easily locate wipes, nappies, change mat etc with one hand whilst holding the baby with the other. The pockets meant it didn't all end up going to the bottom under wallet, keys, etc.

I'm amazed so many of you said no and no!
I have 3: a Kate spade, the stokke change bag and a storksak. I love them simply because they are actually big enough carry lots and have enough pockets so that everything isn't just loose in the bottom.

Tbh with newborns and if your bf I think you don't need one but with a ff 7 month old I do. Space for snacks, change of clothes, bottles, wallet, a toy, phone... I'd also far rather have a nice bag than a rucksack

I like the idea of a bag that is solely for the nappies etc. as that would help me save time and as next baby is number 3 I am going to need any help there that I can get. I am going to research "bags", I like bags :) why limit myself to change bags when there is a whole world of bags out there!
