Looking to get a travel system pushchair which includes a carrycot.

Can I use this carrycot with a moses basket mattess and on a stand instead of having to buy a moses basket, which in my eyes would do the same job???

3 months! DD was in hers (as a pram) until she could roll! We did use it for naps downstairs.

We used our carrycot on it's pushchair frame til 14 weeks for naps and night time. We did have a moses basket mattress in it though, and on the advice of hv you must not put the roofy bit up becuase of the ventilation thing. Hv saw the set up and didn't question it so we carried on. We were in a one bed flat too so only had to push the thing from one room to the next! Was much easier than carrying it about anyway!

We used a carrycot instead of a moses basket until DD was 14 weeks old (I know the exact date because I have photos of her in the cot that first night all spread out :o) During the day we'd bring the carrycot downstairs and it would go on the pram base. At night it was resting on 2 chairs in our room. We didn't actually use it much out of the house because we only tended to do short journeys so she was in her car seat.

It was really good for when we went to visit other people though as we would take the carrycot with us and she was sleeping in the thing she was used to.
