I doubt they exist TBH. Maternity bras are intended to give lots of extra support so I don't think strapless would do the trick. Depending on your cup size, you might be able to find a really supportive non-maternity strapless bra though.

You can wear undersides as long as they fit properly especially in the cup where the wire ends.

Alternatively what about a bandeau type strapless bra? You would need to be quite small you get away with this type though.

I know this sounds a bit weird but you could try cutting the wires out of a regular strapless bra, I did this when they went all wonky. Just make a tiny cut at one end, enough to pull the wire out. It might not be very supportive, but you could try if all else fails!

Not sure if it's gonna be that comfy.

I went through a whole mission trying to find a strapless or a halterneck maternity bra for a wedding when DD was 3 weeks. They don't exist.

What about a strapless bandeau bra?? www.lasenza.co.uk/search/Search.aspx?phrase=%20bandeau%20strapless%20bras

I had an m&s one years ago that was really comfy.

SandyChick · 27/07/2011 23:28

Meant to add I'm a 32e and the bandeau style was still comfy. The one I used to have had rubber bits inside to keep it in place. I tried a one in Next a while back that was rubbish. Might need to shop around Smile

Yep, they do exist - Bras 4 Mums stock them: www.bras4mums.co.uk/bras/strapless-maternity-bras.html - hope you find what you're after :)

Presume you do mean maternity and not breast feeding bra. If it's just for one outfit for an event or something just wear an ordinary strapless bra. It's just one day!!!! Why pay all that money if you do find something specialist.
They recommend no wires in pregnancy as the breasts are changing over time and wires can be restrictive at the sides where breasts are growing. Just one day (or several days) really aren't goung to cause many problems. I know loads of women who continued to wear ordinary underwire in bigger sizes anyway.

They do exist, i'm a 36 f (i know i'm dying for it all to be over too), and bought 1 from the asda, think it was around £4- £5. I tried it with the straps first and it was really uncomfortable so took them off and it was wonderful.

Not a bra id really recommend to wear in pregnancy but for a 1 off it was fine
