Do you mean as far as the negative goes? It only matters if you are negative, because if you had a positive baby, then the first one would be fine, but then you would detect the positive blood with subsequent babies, and could produce antibodies (but they would have given you an injection at the birth of baby 1 to prevent this anyway).

If you are positive and you have a negative baby, then you can't detect it. Imagine positive blood being like a circle with spikes sticking out, and negative with spikes going in - so you can only see the positive.

Is that helpful? I think you're fine. I looked into this because both my mother and dh's mother are negative, so I figured there was a good chance I'd have a negative baby, but even if I do it's fine.

I'm Rhesus Negative, and my DH is Rhesus Pos.

Didn't cause any problems - DD1 is Rh Pos. which meant I needed an Anti-D jab after the birth to prevent any possible problems with next baby.

DS1 was born - again another Rhesus Pos. baby, and again needed another Anti-D jab.

With pregnancy No 3, I started bleeding at 28 weeks, so was given an Anti-D jab as a precaution. DD2 was born at 42 weeks and she is a Rhesus Neg. like me. Consequently, didn't need an Anti-D jab after the birth.

Really is nothing to worry about from your POV as you are Positive.

It is Rh- women who can have problems if their babies are Rh+
You have nothing to worry about.

karen01 - your blood groups are very unlikely to cause any problems at all. There is a very rare condition called ABO incompatability.
There is alink here

I certainly would not worry too much about it.

yeah its only really a problem i think if u are rhesus neg and your hubby is pos. just means a few extra blood tests thro the pregnancy and a nice injection after giving birth.
