I always fancied a surprise but since my husband talked me into finding out Im actually really excited to know. Also seen lots of cute clue things ike teddies rattles bedding that I will be able to get in blue or pink rather than waiting or getting cream or yellow. I cant wait to find out now got a feeling of what Im having too but dont mind just have a feelingxx

We're not finding out and like others I'm suprised that people don't seem to like it that we don't know Confused surely it's up to me and DH if we want to know or not?

But anyway, friends who have had babies already also said you get given a lot of stuff when it's born so I'm not worried that the contents of the wardrobe look a little "boring" at the moment Smile

And FWIW I think it's each to their own anyway, do what's right for you and DP/DH.

I am 22 weeks and we found out :) I'm far too impatient not too and we had no reason to wait. She has her own little character now, and I hated her being an it.... We are keeping her names a surprise for everyone though but at the end of the day like someone else said its a surprise whether you find out after 20 weeks or 40 weeks.

Plus on the day it would be a massive surprise if she was a he... Hahaha

We didn't find out with DS, but DH wanted to this time so I thought it only fair to do it his way this time. It has made it easier knowing it's a girl Smile as we can get rid of some of our blue stuff, plus DH isn't going to be at the birth so it was nice to find out together. I'm still referring to her (feels weird typing 'her') as 'it' though, as I don't want to tempt fate if that makes sense as I'm only 21 weeks. Also, as I keep telling DH, they do get it wrong sometimes! There are no wrongs or rights though, it's a very personal decision.

I found out with DD and will again this time. A friend of mine just found out today and she is so excited, she's bouncing off the walls. I fail to see how her experience could be bettered by waiting.

Keeping it a surprise but I am so tempted......

It is the only time in your life that exquisite pain can be combined with as much excitment at Christmas for a 4 year old - not knowing really kept my spirits up.

funny cause after reading these posts not been so fussed about finding out you know the gender did go the next sale the other day and got a few blue and pink things well figure that I can keep either for a friend if they have baby in the future. Even thou not too fussed think I will still want to know at the 20 weeks scan its just too tempting. It would be easyer if the option wasnt there. xx
